Future of this site.

As per KTG’s e-mail request i have taken the albums that contain his work offline, however, i’d like to say i’m not afraid of being sued so lol @ threats. I said previously in my response to the user asking that KTG’s albums be taken down that i would do so if asked by the author of said works under the conditions listed and i have done so. Moving forward , I will continue business as usual and share my albums and if any author of works posted here wants them removed then they can e-mail : taggleburr@gmail.com and request they be taken down.

With that said here’s some points i’d like to address :

>Will you rip any more of KTG’s albums?

- If i like it, i buy it, i share it. Simple as that and  goes for any artist.

>The artist is losing money by their works being posted on this site!

- Let me first say I strongly encourage everyone to support their favourite artists and go BUY their albums (if you can find them), however, I highly doubt the artist is incurring substantial losses by this site making albums available to foreigners that can normally only be bought at JAPANESE EVENTS , sold at Japanese only online stores, or eventually made available through japanese file sharing (lulz). If they really wanted to make money off foreign fans they’d sell their albums digitally sooner,  if at all through foreigner friendly sites.

> What you’re doing is wrong, please stop posting albums!

- Kinda late to be having a moral dilemma about this now guys.  If you didn’t want this stuff for free than you wouldn’t be here in the first place ;3

In closing, vocaloid albums are f’ing expensive. My vocaloid master bills run between 500-600 USD.  Come at me bro.

EDIT: before anyone asks why the google doc link is gone/private. Ive taken it down since someone purposely fucked it up, even tho i can revert the changes made with 1 click (lol).  I’ve made it private till my list is done and sent out. Please use this link to submit all future vomas18 album requests, thanks!  REQUEST LINK

  1. That’s the spirit! Stand by your views! We all thank you for it!

  2. Praise be to allah! i.e. FUCK YEAH!

  3. hell yeah!!! XD

  4. I buy my share of Vocaloid related goods as well, albums & figurines to be exact, I think I do my part to support the makers.

If I want to download a couple albums for free I think I should be allowed to because let’s face it the loss is not entirely gigantic, it’s more of an ego issue if you ask me.

With that said, thank you for providing as always! The attitude you just displayed is a fine example of how file sharing sites should be (I’m looking at you Hongfire).

  5. You have my support.

  6. Wow what a Giant cunt to whoever messed up your document…. What was the point? A troll?
    Anyways I hope you saved a copy! I really appreciate dedication and it makes me feel bad that things aren’t going the way as planned for now ;;

  7. Good response.

  8. im with you!

    CDJAPAN
    THE VOCALOID produced by Yamaha

    Subtotal 2190 yen
    Shipping 1200 yen
    Total 3390 yen
    ————————-
    *US$ 43.14
    it hurts !xDD

  9. I wish I could buy 400 of Vocaloid music albumn I have obtained by direct download via internet until now … But … every time I enter a music page to buy a CD with a miserable song may have cost up to 15 Dollars … “That hurts” … as Ragedzai said … (And i’m not adding the tax bills, shipping and etc.)

400 Albums x 1 $ for album = No economy to support it.

  10. YES. Just..yes.
I completely agree and stand behind you 100%. Really the only artists I know of whose works can be bought through foreigner-friendly sites are the really big and popular artists like Supercell and Wowaka. Honestly, most of these producers should be happy about what you’re doing. I’ve found many producers who I have been willing to support financially through your website, so I don’t see how this can be an indication of any loss in revenue on their end. In fact, this is really all just free advertising for them for us listeners overseas!

In any case, I’m glad to hear you’re going to keep doing what you’re doing, yet still show respect for the artist in that you’ll remove the works if asked to do so. I really appreciate what your blog has brought to me and many others and I honestly can’t imagine what I’d do without it.

  11. I think you did the right thing. Now hopefully this ~*CUEB DRAMA*~ will move on.

Honestly, I would love to buy Vocaloid CDs and other doujin CDs (I prefer having a physical copy of them) but there’s no way I can fork out like £30 – &40 per CD when I usually want at least ten CDs per event. So I’m glad that you’re keeping this website up and will continue to share music (and in lossless too!) for everyone. Thank you~ :3

  12. You know I agree. Vocaloid is expensive for foreigners ~ not least the currency conversion but postage costs too. I am not going to buy a full cd for one particular track that I like! I support EasyPop though and have bought his latest cd ~ Heartful Sequence.

  13. I’m so sorry if you thought anything I said meant “What you’re doing is wrong,” or “Artists are losing money because of you.”
I’m sincerely thankful and I owe a TON to you and all the donators for allowing us to have so many great albums!!
Taggleburr, just saying, YOU ARE THE BEST, and you have been one of the sole saviors of my love of Vocaloid music.

  14. i just hate how these artists think they can be jews about making money. i believe that music was never meant to have any profit from album sales whatsoever, but rather through other things…Deadmau5 once said “support comes to those who support”. It’s safe to say, though, that i’m not asking for everything for free. I appreciate that these artists have been working to get this music made and I’m not just expecting everything to be free, but for the artists who expect money out of making music and not for the happiness of the fans will never earn any of my respect. music is made for happiness of others, not for money.

  15. AWESUM SAUCE! 8D

  16. where is the like button?!!!
    LIKEEEEEEEEEEE

  17. But the rumor is spread quite fast. One more japanese artist also found this site. https://mobile.twitter.com/#!/kamome_sano/status/134810678224617472 Be careful D’:)

  18. Wow… This feels like a war between artists and over-seas fans.
We should protest! “WE WANT VOCALOID MUSIC IN AMERICA~!”
“WE WANT TO BUY, BUT YOU REFUSE TO GIVE US THE OPPORTUNITY!”
    I’m all for it. ;D

    • I agree. I mean, they’re all “Don’t distribute our music. Argh. D:<" And we're all "Yo, we want your music, y'ain't giving us the opportunity, fu."

I seriously feel like tweeting "No fans, no producers"

  19. The best way to go about this would be to contact your favorite producers and ask them to make their music more easily available to fans outside of japan. If it works then good for you and them, if not ; well it’s their loss .

    • I know I’m replying to an old post, but just for the sake of Great Justice:

okays, so I’ve emailed/pm’ed in english to ~10 P’s asking to buy – BUY – their tracks, including t.Komine, shu-t, guys from mikumix and others. Absolutely no response from anyone, even from those who should know eng a bit.

It’s quite easy to say “just contact them”, but in fact it doesn’t work unless you know Japanese and know their twitters/blogs.

  20. taggleburr would it be possible to make it so we can see the request list but not edit it? I’m requesting a bunch of things but I don’t want to keep requesting things that are already on the list. I’m not the one going through the requests though so meh

  21. U.S. Code: Title 17 – Copyrights. Unauthorized use or copying may be prohibited by law. Materials do not have to be registered or identified as being copyrighted material in order for copyright protection… to apply. Persons are prohibited fr…om duplicating copyrighted works unless the action is authorized by (a) specific exemptions in the copyright law, (b) the principle of fair-use, (c) the fair-use guidelines, and (d) licenses or written permission from the copyright owner.

COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT IS A FEDERAL CRIME, PUNISHABLE BY A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $200,000 PER INFRINGEMENT.

Sir, you and your blog’s days are ending near.

    • oh gee I’m so scared, what will I do? seriously, it looks like you haven’t even bothered to read the other comments in this post. i recommend you do so before you make yourself look stupid.

    • It’s always amusing when people have so little to make themselves feel happy in their own lives that they have to go around attempting to sabotage others on the internet. There’s that guy that reports SaHa links who must put in several hours a week to slightly inconvenience people by killing something like half the mirrors for brief periods before reuploads. Now there’s a guy who apparently is going to quote domestic copyright law on a site infringing copyright on an international level only, abuse caps lock, post sentence fragments with completely meaning-ambiguous grammatical failures, and will probably have the same smug grin as the SaHa stalker despite a similar misunderstanding of the situation he’s created for himself. Haru, you are no hero of the internet, you’re a petty little person who is unhappy with himself and wishes to distract yourself from that fact by trying to make other people feel bad. Grow up please.

Taggleburr, you’re amazing and you’re doing an amazing thing with your blog. Keep it up.

      • SaHa? is it the famous person who share manga?

Hero of the internet? don’t make me laugh, he’s just as good as useless person, after download the file he wants, he’s going to say that again in every site that he took file from
i think it’s impossible for a person who love to torture other people to grow up, he will grow as a rotten person though

  22. If you contunue uploading, even Japanese fan would download them and not buy CDs. Decreasing CD sales, many vocaloid artists stop making CDs or musics.

    YOU KILL the VOCALOID MUSIC.

    • it’s the circle’s fault for thinking they can make big profit from selling albums. in this day and age, there’s nothing that can stop people from sharing music since there’s a lot of websites and services on the internet that promote sharing.

even if vocaloid music was supposedly stopped being made altogether, I wouldn’t care less cuz there’s a lot of vocaloid albums out there already made and being shared. the japanese circles are no different from artists from america and europe. they make 3-10 albums or more, then they stop making music. they might stop making music not because of people sharing the music, but rather from other obligations. The vocaloid music that’s already made is gonna keep me happy for a VERY long time. If people continue making music, great i’ll be happy to support them if I can. if not, it sure won’t bother me one bit.

    • People aren’t going to go fly off to Japan or spend a ton on shipping to buy CDs if this site shuts down :T

    • Kill the Vocaloid Music?
you say that when you, yourself download the album, what a joke
you say japanese fan would download the album?
you don’t know there’s a forum in japan that share the album through the internet and download them don’t you? they already done that long time ago
internet are the one that make the Vocaloid more popular like now, people buy the album because they know the song were good when they download it and wish for the original one, don’t say any foolish thing when you don’t know anything that happen in this world
read all the comment, and you will know why people outside Japan where choosy when they want to buy the album, just think about it
      1 album = US$ 43.14
also don’t you know, some people that post vocaloid album were bought them first with their money and share it for free, you should thanking them for giving you a review for what original album you should buy and not making the situation worst
if vocaloid artist stop making music, it isn’t the fault of the one who sharing it free, but it’s because there’s more than 2 hundred vocaloid artist, and some of them couldn’t compete and that’s why they stop, if artist would really stop because their CD sales decreasing, maybe right now, Ryo(supercell), 8#Prince, otetsu and many top artist that making song for Vocaloid stopped making it (just think ’bout it, the first one people post usually the most popular one)

  23. Yo digo lo mismo!

Taggleburr, eres increíble y que está haciendo algo increíble con tu blog. Keep it up. Sigue así

  24. I think it is actually helping to spread the appreciation and love for vocaloid music that could otherwise be very difficult/impossible to obtain unless foreign-friendly sites start selling them.
In a way, producers could even look at downloads and the like to gauge the popularity of their music, and decide to expand based on that.
I support you! Thank you for all the awesome stuff you’ve done for us! :D

  25. Keep doing an awesome job, taggleburr!

  26. @yzuru

    >implying TB will ever tell others what he did to other websites
    >implying sharing and promoting music is torture
    >implying he needs to grow up if he breaks a law

    fullretard.jpg.png.txt.tif.gif.pdf.exe

    • the one who is retard wasn’t me, but people like you who wasn’t read the comment carefully
i’m just following what yamada said, and you know the one i mean by that is that haru, he’s no hero of the internet by posting that law and said this blog end is near, he’s just a rotten person who can’t appriciate what other people do
i can’t bring myself to get angry to person like you who wasn’t paying attention and spouting nonsense

  27. You probably make more than the amount needed for buying the Vocaloid cd’s with every download a person makes. If that is the case, then what you are doing is illegal. To make money off another artists works without you contributing to that work is unfair and wrong. But then again in a world of self righteousness there are no morals. So lead on and stop complaining. What ever happens to you and this site come what may.

    • i make 0 money off downloads, if i wanted to make money off these id host the files on sites other than mediafire & megaupload. The only money i get is from donations , with the exception of this current vomas, average about 20-30 dollars per vomas event and are usually request donations which go directly to buying extra albums.

  28. @yzuru , @Charley, @vocalop, @haru:
You dumbfucks obviously do not read Taggleburr’s posts or anything regarding what he does in this site, which is possible much more generous and helpful that what you dumb cunts will do in your internet life or real life.

He has done a lot more than just buy Vocaloid albums. He has distributed them freely and allowed for others to request and choose for as well. Vocaloid events are so freaking secluded, it’s almost impossible to know or obtain any information from them (and considering we can barely take any photos of Vocaloid M@ster Events either…) He has made producers more well known and make people accustomed to what music they produce. Like other people have said before, if they adore a producer, they will support them in the extent of buying at least one of their albums. I have done the same thing, but used the middleman service to buy things from Toranoana which is also isolated to Japanese shipping only…

Like TB has noted before, he will take down any albums that the original artist requested to do so, regardless of reason. Heck, he even STILL wanted to distribute his albums the same way to you guys EVEN without a pesky password system or his own filesharing website.

Unless we see more artists submerge to KarenT or Bandcamp or other websites or even have more involvement from Yamaha or other Vocaloid/music companies regarding making Vocaloid music more available to distribute for pay, it’s going to have to be this way for a while.

TB doesn’t make a profit out of this! He has a job and pays all these costs himself for most of the time (exceptions being donations and buy-requests), so I don’t see why you guys are whining.

    • wait a sec
i said that not to TB, but i said that to the Haru kid who is saying stuff like that, why do he need to post about law in here
the one i say not hero of the internet is that haru kid dumbass, he just like people who after what he want and then left making other people suffer after he got what he wanted (note: read the comment carefully, i’m just helping yamada to get rid of that haru)

i always respect TB for sharing album even he know that album he bought is cost a lot of money, i always respect him for always doing what he can to us vocaloid fans, if it’s not by TB, i wouldn’t find the album i always wanted and just for you to know, it’s my dream too to help other vocaloid fans too by sharing free album on the net

  29. @yzuru: ohshit sorry man, I didn’t mean that bro :’{

  30. Sorry, knowing of all past incidents and not meaning to be rude, how is the progress for VoMas 18?

  31. Okay, thanks! :)

  32. just thought id give everyone a small update on vomas18. I have my package and have been ripping albums for a good portion of the day but i will not be making a new post until i have ripped/uploaded everything. My best guess as to when ill have everything ready would be sunday night, sooner if im lucky. Check back around then ;3

  33. YEAAAAAAAH!!!
Thanks for the info…can’t wait XD

  34. Ohhhh gosh, I’m so excited!!
Can’t wait to see the awesome music you got. :D

  35. we got a lot of albums coming, that’s for sure. Say, Taggleburr, did you happen to get an album called “Archaic Alchemy” from VOMAS18 by any chance?

  36. i finished uploading 15gigs of wavs awhile ago and now im getting started on 4 gigs of mp3s. So my estimate of sunday night will more than likely hold true. I wont give an exact time since mediafire is acting up for me and i may need to use a different service for the mp3s ~_~

    • Aha, ok. Well, work hard! \ovo/

    • Holy crap 15 gigs… well, it looks like I’ll be able to get the albums tomorrow (it’s almost midnight here in the UK). Thank you so much for uploading all these albums!

    • so ya, mediafire isnt working out and i finally found a service that seems decent which means im just starting the mp3 uploads now. I’ll probably have links up when i get home from work, maybe 8ish PST tomorrow ~_~

      • Y U NO WORK, MEDIAFIRE?
That’s disappointing, after spending a whole day checking for the albums… (>///<)
But at least you found a site to post the albums to! What's it called?

      • the service i uploaded all the mp3s to turns out to have shit bandwidth which i found out after everything was uploaded/ got home. I was going to just post the wav links for now but megaupload shows as down for me, i guess they did some site updating and it hasnt propagated to my dns yet = FUCK x2. I started uploading the mp3s to 4shared about an hour ago, ill put up the new post when mega shows as online for me or when i have most of mp3s up ( 12am PST) whichever comes first. Sorry for the delays, uploading these files has been a giant clusterfuck

  37. Very exciting… It’s 0:04 AM 28th where I am… and I guess something sweet will await me when I get back on ‘tomorrow’ hahaha
